Melvin Willis, Eduardo Martinez, Ada Recinos and Jovanka Beckles depend on local volunteers who talk to their neighbors about the issues that are most important to them.  First time activists are welcome -- we'll partner you up and provide all the training you'll need.

    Eduardo Environmental Champion

Join City Council member Eduardo Martinez and other environmental champions at this fundraiser for his City Council re-election bid. Since winning his seat in 2014, in spite of Chevron's efforts to discredit and defeat him, Eduardo has been a strong advocate for environmental issues, including his current struggle to protect Pt. Molate. Besides environmental issues, Eduardo has also been instrumental in strengthening the police review process, increasing the minimum wage, stabilizing rents and transferring public monies from jail expansion to public services. An award winning retired teacher from WCCUSD, Eduardo is also a strong advocate for public education. Committed also to immigrant rights, Eduardo currently chairs the East Bay Sanctuary Covenant.

With just weeks before Election Day, Eduardo needs your support to emerge victorious in his City Council re-election bid so he can continue championing these progressive causes. So come out and enjoy an afternoon with other concerned residents and activists. Refreshments will be served and donations collected after hearing from Eduardo.

If you can't make the event, please contribute to Eduardo here.

And please help spread the word via Facebook here
